  • Can We All Agree On THREE Things?

    1) This was one of the ugliest performances I have ever seen from the Packers.

    2) We had many key players injured.

    3) Yet we only lost by 9.

If someone can dispute those three, I'll leave this forum forever.

You can toss out #1 since nobody has a fucking clue what you've seen.

Was not the ugliest performance I've seen. Not even close. This year, perhaps, but cmon. Ever? Nah, not close.

Dude, #1 is an ignorant statement. The only game I ever attended at Lambeau was the home opener in '06...bears shut the Packers out 27-0. THAT was ugly....pure ugly. This game wasn't even close to being one of their worst. They put points on the board, had a chance, the defense made some big plays, but the running game was invisible, the OL sucked, and Rodgers had 3 costly INT's.

Anyone remember TJ Rubley? This was not the ugliest game ever. But MM has shown a propensity for looking clueless in his play calling during losses and that trend can't continue.

You are clearly under the age of 25.... You've never seen Randy Wright or TJ Rubly, or David Whitehurst QB the Packers.

Today, we played somewhat competitively. In the 70's and 80's? Not so much.

Edit - I forgot Rich Campbell. there are others.... many others.

                          Lost-

                          Rodgers (shoulder)
                          Jenkins (peck?)
                          Hawk (groin)
Collins left and didn't return (lower back)

                          Previously injured-
                          James Jones - out
                          Bigby - out
Korey Hall - out (is he really the key to the running game? -- funny how people say FBs are dime/dozen)
Lumkin (hammy) - did he play?
                          Al Harris - out
                          Woodson (playing - well)

They call the above an 'injury plague'. 8 starters and 2 key 2nd/3rd stringers. Hard to win with that line-up (sans the rotating offensive line).
