Nothing against what Brett has done, but there are a lot of AFC East teams that aren't as good as their record. The AFC East got to play the worst division in the AFC (AFC West) and the worst division in the NFC (NFC West). The AFC East is a combined 15-5 against the NFC West and AFC West. The AFC East teams are obviously splitting their games, for the most part, and then beating up those other two divisions. Of the eight teams in those two divisions, only two have a winning record, and Arizona is 7-3 in large part because they are 4-0 against the rest of the NFC West. The four teams in AFC East are all over .500, and yet the division only has won three games against a team with a record better than 4-6 outside of the division (New England and Miami beat Denver and the Jets beat Arizona).Originally posted by GrnBay007Wow, Buffalo getting beat by Cleveland w/ 4 min. left.
To put that into perspective, the NFC North doesn't have a team above .500, but they've beaten 5 teams combined with a .500 record or above (Green Bay and Chicago over Indianapolis, Chicago over Philadelphia, Minnesota over New Orleans and Carolina)."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Maybe. But we all know records and stats mean nothing if a team gets hot/momentum at the right time of the season. Never know what will happen...that's why they play the games!Originally posted by HarveyWallbangers[

Right, but it's more likely that whomever makes the playoffs will get exposed by better teams. Then again, in the AFC there aren't that many great teams. New England would probably still be dangerous in the playoffs--with their experience. The tide sure has turned towards the NFC the last two years.Originally posted by GrnBay007Maybe. So McNabb got benched at halftime of the Eagles/Ravens game.
Philly Daily News and Inquirer sites are already saying "the McNabb era is over". Good thing they didn't play in Philly today, it'd be a full scale riot. 2 picks and a fumble, plus he was fairly wild.-digital dean
