    i disagree

we played the best team in the nfl, and played like complete shit, all around
Being a little harsh aren't ya? Driver had a monster game, Arod had over 300 yards, Grant had 86 yards against one of the toughest run D's in the league, our D played tough until they wore out in the end from being on the field too much. Not many people were giving is any chance at all at beating the Titans and they nearly pulled it off. Say what you want, but we're a very good 4-4 team and have some great football left in us.

stats, stats, stats.... we didnt get a W... simple as that..

Rodgers had the ball in his hands with little time remaining and didnt come thru... its been the kids rap and we've seen it a few times as a packer already....
Blaming this all on Arod is just silly. If Jennings makes a play on that 40 yard pass we're not having this discussion at all. If the D makes one of the 3 pick opportunities they had we may not be having this discussion at all. Arod is one person on a 53 man roster. He can't do it all.

but when is he going to actually "win" us a game?... seriously, when is he gonna do something, show me an "it" factor? I seen it from Favre, Warner, Roethlisberger, Brady, Manning... those type players... when is he gonna make a drive for us to win a game? cuz I've seen enough of the "almosts" already.... if u dont wanna take the kid gloves off with Arod, thats fine.. but I expect my QB to win me a game come crunch time and so far, he has failed... but hey, his stats look pretty
He's started 8 games and played damn good. I think it's a little early to write him off...

I get that.. and I havent written him off.. i think hes played very well... im just sick of not winning the close games is all.. i mean, aren't u?
Absolutely, but I'm just saying you can't make Arod shoulder all the blame. It's a team effort when they win and a team effort when they lose. So many things could of went different and they may have won. It's a young team and they're learning how to play in close games. I'm disappointed we lost yeah, but I think the team played their asses off and I'm optimistic about the rest of the season. Now if they went out there and got blown out and looked like total crap, then I wouldn't be as optimistic. I think this could easily be a 10-6 team if we can stay relatively healthy.

Only down by 3, we completely out play them in the second half yet we can't finish. IT SUCKS! I think the difference was that we didn't take advantage of turnover opportunities. Too many dropped interceptions that could have turned things around. They only got 3 points off of turnovers, but that happened to be the difference in the game. God Damn it! Fucking soft defense. Reminds me of the Badgers. When we're down we can play tough, as soon as we get a lead, or in this case a tie, all of a sudden we have no answers. WTF??

I feel a little better now.
I think the Titans had all their starters back for this game.
      Vanden Bosch was out.
You sure? Radio said he was active and playing.

        Agreed. Both sides.

We need to be dominant at the LOS if we are to excel in the Pillsbury Doughboy's schemes ...

ya, I shoulda explained more.. I don't solely blame Rodgers for the loss... but when he got the ball back I said to myself, alright kid u got the ball in ur hands and a chance to make everyone get on board like u wanted... and he failed at doing that to me.. he still leaves me question him because he really never has come thru for us in a clutch situation...

I hear what you're saying, I really do, but if Jennings makes that catch then Arod's the hero. There's such a fine line between hero and goat. Players make plays and Arod could have done more, but so could have many of the other players. They'll be fine.

I should have been more clear. I think the Titans started out with everyone healthy but it seemed at a point there that they had guys getting hurt every other play. Bullock got hurt and didn't play much the second half. Vanden Bosch didn't play the second half. They also had their starting RG out for some time.

and a few games in college

not a lot to go off of.... but when is he going to pull one out was my question?

                  • Never. Aaron Rodgers will never pull of a clutch win as long as he lives.

                    What a shame.

                      • Blaming this game on Aaron is foolish. I actually thought they played pretty well. Obviously Tenn is a very talented team. We ran the ball about as well as you can expect against them, and while we didn't stop the run, I think that had more to do with how fast that kid is versus us being out of position/inable to make a play.

That rookie RB is a stud!

We played a nice defensive game with the blitzing. Tenn is very, very, good though.

Geez Paco, I think you're jumping the gun on this a little. The guy has only started 8 games in his career. The Jennings play was huge. If Jennings catches that ball we probably walk out with a win and Rodgers looks like a hero. Nobody can make all the plays. If Jennings makes that catch Rodgers looks great. But it goes both ways, Rodgers overthrew Jennings a little earlier. Like I said, nobody can make every play.

I was actually very encouraged today. The Packers went out in a physical game and played a tough team on their turf down to the wire. I'm sticking by my prediction of 10-6. I think they'll get into the playoffs and be a dangerous team.
                          GO PACK!!!!

See, the Packers didn't lose because of turnovers, non-PI on Jennings, or MM3 playcalling.

They lost 'cuz none of you stepped up and sported the pile helmet.

I'll try again next Sunday, so the season won't be a wash.

                              • Didn’t read all 33 pages so this may have already been brought up and if so sorry, but why after putting 8 or 9 in the box all game which worked pretty good by the way, did we decide to go to nickel and only have 6 in the box on the two most important drives in the game. Is that up to Sanders and if so somebody should ask him why cause it sure didn’t work. Also when they put 8 in the box why didn’t we throw? Doesn’t Rogers have that option? Just wondering.
