I am happy that we actually got outplayed most of the half and are still in this.
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.
Things are actually settling down for me on the domestic/divorce front so I actually plan on sitting down and watching the game today... really haven't relaxed and watched a full game "Packer Sunday" style in a couple of years.
I'll be watching the Haynesworth vs Wells/Colledge match up... fully excpet Wells and Colledge to be deposited into Rodgers's lap on a regular basis. To counter that, I expect the Packers to try to run wide a lot, stretch plays, get Haynesworth running laterally, try to tire him out as the game wears on. Don't think it will work though, the Packers simply aren't good enough up front.
On defense, their OL vs our DL... the Packers last two opponents have been finesse teams. Tennessee is a power team - even with a backup QB, I expect them to run the ball pretty effectively against the Packers.
For the Packers, this game will be lost in the trenches.
speaking of the trenches wist, am curious to what you think on the blog I posted. I even referenced you in it.
"Or will the Wist like theories hold true tomorrow in that the Packers are soft on both sides and they can't win the big one against a solid smash mouth team. We'll find out soon."
