  • I may have been wrong! or, What does Crow taste like?

Prior to the start of the season, I predicted that the Packers would only win 4 games all season. Here we are at the half-way point, and the Packers already have 4 wins. Yep, I may have been wrong.

Before the game against the Titans, I read in the paper that Thompson cut KGB. I found that to be pretty interesting, considering as how so many people in these forums kept making such a big deal out of the fact that Thompson had re-signed KGB not that long ago...... So, was Thompson a genius for re-signing KGB, or is he now a genius for cutting KGB??? Which is it? I am so confused.

I guess the team did have to make room for Harrell though....... How did he do anyway? (I was watching Brett Favre and the Jets win their game and missed any plays that Harrell may have made.)

I'd say both. It was a smart risk to take. And now its a smart time to cut losses since it didn't work out.

    Hope this helps.

I think it also sends a message to the rest of the players..........It doesn't matter what your salary is, if you don't produce, your done.

I don't think this was a message-sending deal. KGB is just injured, he lost his burst because of an arthritic knee. Maybe KGB will recover further and make a comeback some day, but that's unlikely.

He was replaced by a street free agent, Pettiway, even though the team doesn't save a dime in salary. KGB probably won't be able to help another team this year.

Well, I am pretty clear on who the genius is not, considering the last time a GM re-signed KGB was during Mike Sherman's reign as GM.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

            Uhhhhhh.....

Maybe you should change the title of your post to I AM ALWAYS WRONG.

KGB signed his deal in 2003. Ted took over in 2005. For fuck's sake man.

Harrell actually look ok for his first game back and he didn't get hurt.

It was nice while you were gone. Here's to your next three month absence.

Of course you wouldn't know since you have been in the witness protction program for the past 2 months.

At this point I think you can change it to "I WAS wrong" because I get the feeling a 5th win is inevitable.

by "resign KGB", I think PackerBlues meant keep him on the roster after his inability to perform in training camp.

Is that how we set the bar for Thompson's 1'st round picks these days?

Well, he didn't do much, but at least he didn't get hurt. ROFLMFAO
