  • Former #1 NFL pick Ryan Leaf quits college coaching job

Ryan Leaf, who was a great college QB at Washington State but one of the biggest disappointments of all time in the pros, quit his job at QB coach at West Texas A&M:

He's made a mess of his life, and I had hoped that this new job would work out, but things seem to be out of control for him again. What a sad story. Remember the Chargers taking him instead of Peyton Manning?
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

Actually, the Colts had the #1 pick that year and drafted Payton Manning

The Chargers were left with him as #2 and selected him there

That was also the same year Green Bay elected to draft Vonnie Holiday over Randy Moss
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

My bad--right you are. Still, for the #2 pick in the draft, he took an ugly tumble.

          So did Mel Kiper.

His derisive comments about Peyton Manning and glowing predictions about Leaf have been floating around on YouTube for years.

I basically thought they'd both make it.

Wait, so can we use this example to dismiss all your posts then?
