But I still put plenty of blame on MM for going to conservative mode about 15 yards too soon
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
Why? They had a chance to wein and were well within Crosby's range. He didn't make the kick. HE shouldn't be embarrased at all.
Because his team came out in a big game and played horrendous. On top of it he calls for a stupid challenge and then banks on a 50+ yard FG for the win.
It doesn't matter. THEY STILL HAD A CHANCE TO WIN THE GAME.
On a side note, the only reason I can come up with for the challenge was that someone believed Petersen lost control of the ball before it crossed the plane of the goal, which would have been a touchback. Hell I even thought of that before I saw any replay.
That was damned near a 50 yarder. How many kickers in the NFL make even half of those? You want someone to blame, I say lay it on the defense that let the Vikings slice them up like an Easter ham on the Vikings last drive.
I'm not laying the loss on the kicker. There are gaping holes in this current Packers team that far outweigh the performance of their kicker. But you gotta make those FG's in a freaking dome. Kickers get paid what the get paid to make those 50-54 yarders...that's why the kick in the NFL.
How many Dinars will it take to bring a European/South American soccer player over for a tryout and give the defense a better chance by pinning the opposition back behind.....uh...their own 45?
Screw this Ray Guy award bullshit.. Gimme the guy that doesn't know how to use his hands but kicks the ball straight.
Lots of reasons why they've lost the last 2 weeks, but it's hard to win in the NFL when you're giving up about 200 yards rushing as much as they have.

Well to cover up the misery for a loss without drinking so early today, I'm going to watch
Locked Up Abroad
The stories about the most incompetent fucking drug dealers who get caught smuggling sh** in countries who see drugs as uh...well let's just say the Middle East doesn't turn a blind eye and the death penalty is an alternative to drug dealing.
The actress reenacting this episode is pretty f'ing hot.

Umm, it does matter because they didn't win the game. If they play discipline football they win this game. They didn't and that falls on MM.
wow what a game...just missed.....ouch this hurts..
XACTLY!!!
I saw the game as poor play calling, and complete meltdown in terms of discipline and execution.
The false start penalties killed any chance the Packers had earlier in the game.
There are MANY things you can point to in this game. Piss poor line play on both sides for starters, can't stop the run, horrible play calling on that last drive for starters..
I felt a lot better about the loss in Tennessee because the Packers played a better all around game.
But today there was some pretty big blunders. The o-line has went from suspect to being a complete liability. Not just because they can't get a decent running game going on a more consistent basis...but Ted Thompson's lack of coordinating a better offensive line is threatening their future at quaterback.
And that is the end of this season. So let's see now. We went from 1 play away from going to the SB to being 4-5 and being a LONGSHOT to even make the play-offs. My My, now what is different about this season from last?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?
Yeah, but you clowns go on and tell me about the great job Thompson is doing. Where oh where is that 16th pick of the 2007 draft at?
Peterson made Hawk look like a kid today. Can we finally call the 5th pick in the 2006 draft a bust?
Yeah, Teddy give Poppinga some more cash for doing NOTHING on the field. Hell, might as well extend his contract again.
I guess that arguement I had with a few of you about who really was responsible for last year has been settled once and for all. It sure was'nt Teddy now was it?
Is'nt it amazing what difference it makes to have a QB who is decisive and does'nt play scared? He makes EVERYONE around him better. Good things seem to happen.
It's a shame that it's gonna take a whole lot more pain and suffering for Packer fans to go through before what has been obvious to some becomes obvious to all.
And just a little side note to the morons who used words like "diva" to describe Favre. I'd rather have a "diva" at QB and be 8-1 than be where we are now. It's easy not to throw picks when you rarely take chances or am I the only one sick of 4yd passes when it's 3rd and 10? But yeah, you guys know better. Dump it off and punt rather than have some balls and go for it...........................
I blame 007 for the loss because she put the clothes back on before the Vikings final drive
