How much do we predict Jared Allen's late helmet-to-helmet hit is gonna set his paycheck back?

They need to start suspending players for that.
$35,000 for a chance to KO the opponents QB in a close game? At his salary? Most players would decline to make the hit out of a sense of fairness. He's obviously not really opposed to taking a cheap shot... so where's the deterrent?#14

Whatever it is, I bet his teammates and coaches will chip in to pay it.
But the guy's contract is paying him a little over $30 million over the next two years. I'm thinking he'll be able to politely decline the gesture from his teammates and pay this out of petty cash.

I was looking downfield so I didn;t see it and they never show any damn replays at the dome. Was it a bad hit?
Also, I think he's been sober for almost 3 years.

it doesn't matter how hard the hit was... it was HELMET TO HELMET... you can't do that to a QBOriginally posted by PartialThe ball has just left. He didn't hit him hard. There were far worse hits in the game imo.Originally posted by MJZiggyThe ball was gone and it was a helmet-to-helmet hit. The kind that give QB's concussions. Now what y'all know about dem Texas boys
