I don't think that there will be much in the way of news any time soon. The IA people will investigate and the officers in question will probably be sacked to avoid a PR fiasco, but that won't happen for months.

According to Driver, his dad was talking again by Friday and has mostly recovered. So this story is in hiatus until the investigation is completed.
