Honestly, I don't think there really is anything specific that Rodgers needs to work on. He just needs to play more, get more experience. The rest should take care of itself with experience. That doesn't mean I am predicting greatness for him or anything like that. It's just that I think he can do what needs to be done, he just needs to develop the feel for the game that really good QBs have. He might never get it, in which case he will be OK, and have a decent career, just like a lot of others.
I think that is true. But its hard not to have a good stat in that area when most of your throws on the run are going no further than 5 yards.
Because QB ranking only takes completion percentage into account I spose? GJ with the eye roll emo.

he has talent and needs to just get experience.. hopefully him getting experience will allow him to become a winner with a killer instinct... ive always been one to think u either have it, or you don't.. but maybe he just needs to learn it because right now he doesnt have it

        Use more of the field.

He's got so much potential with that arm and that mobility. He does have a cannon with excellent velocity. That pass was in the air for 57 yards yesterday.

He also should beef up his legs to get a stronger base, so as to avoid sacks better.

Further, I say he should hang out with Tony Romo. Romo, while reckless, has this unbelievable pocket sense and escapability. If Rodgers can get some of this somehow, he'll be the man.
2 things he lacks...field vision and the feeling of pressure. Unfortunately those are god given talents. He is only going to get a little bit better from here. The good news is that will make him a top 10 QB. I don't ever see him as a top 5. That being said, a perrenial top 10 is pretty fricking good.

I'm with ya there. I hope he learns Manning's ability to read defenses and make pre-snap adjustments. I haven't seen much of that from #12 yet and I hope he gets better at that as he gains experience.

Yeah. Just as long as he doesn't end up with Manning's spastic tics while doing so. That annoys the hell out of me.

He'll have happy feet instead of the Manning face.
