OK, then what do you do? Draft a guy... go to FA to get someone?

He is having a very good season. Is he having an HOF type of year. NO. But for God's sake quit laying the blame for defensive meltdowns at this guy's feet. He didn't drop the sure TD catch, Grant did.

GIVE IT A REST WILL YA!
Tell me the lottery numbers this week. It's obvious you can see what happens. Grant woulda caught that ball and had a first down...I don't think it would have been a TD. Rodgers hasn't proven anything. He starts off playing as good as anyone, but once his defense sucks and they start to crumble, so does Rodgers. He can't handle it.
TV guys said it would have been a walk in TD. How is this Arod's fault?

    • This might be a blessing in disguise. IF and this is a big IF we can somehow get a stud from the draft thanks to this tough season it will all be worth it. If we pick another AJ Hawk with a high pick it will all be wasted.

        • Partial, the worst offense in the league? really? That is just a bunch of word vomit. I've heard drunks in bars put up more compelling arguments than that. Scott is right, this season was over weeks ago, the defense quit around 13 minutes left in the first quarter of the Saints game.

            Thanks TT
Thank him in a couple years when Brett is retired and Rodgers becomes our next Pro Bowl quarterback. Unless you think Rodgers can't or won't learn anything from this season and these close losses, you can't argue TT's decision. Rodgers is under contract for 6 seasons. Do you think he'll never progress from where he is right now? I'm sure he will, and am glad he's still here in Green Bay. I think TT made the right decision regardless what happens this year.

            • I'm not sold on Ryan Grant.

              He was horrible today.

              21 rushes... 56 yards.
I am better looking than you.

Hey, one of those picks was a dropped pass by Coles.. and his team actually wins games.

If we inverted our record, we would be as good as the Jets... except they're in the best division in football. Remember how Lurker and everyone after 2-3 weeks claimed Buffalo was one of the best teams in football?

Well, there are 4 very good teams in the AFC east. We're 5-9 in the worst conference in the NFL.

Wayne Larrivee said the same thing.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

I think the NFC south and NFC east would like to have a word with you.

Also all AFC east teams play the easiest 2 conferences of the league.

TV guys are always right. It was on the 20 yard line. If Troy Aikman said he'd sell you beach front property in Arizona...would you write down the number? It's not Rodgers fault that we lost...it's Rodgers' fault we didn't win. He makes the big bucks because he wins games...now he just needs to win a game.

Dude, we average < 20 points a game now offensively. That is terrible. We had 1 touchdown today. 1. 1. One touchdown. Against one of the worst defenses in the league in rebuilding mode.

Are you kidding me?!? Our offense is abysmal. The scary thing is we have the deepest receiving corps with a top 5 one-two combo there, a decent RB that is healthy, and a pretty solid OL.

                        You tell me.

At this point, things that are key to me are

Jets making the playoffs so we get a 2nd round draft pick
Vanilla Bob going away and someone from outside being hired as DC
Ted realizing the DL is void of enough talent

This is where I'm at too. This is a tough season.

                          • Favre was awful, and did nothing to lead his team to victory. You go on believing that he willed his team to a win.

There is plenty of blame to go aroudn the entire team, but I plant most of it on the defense. That defense is just awfull.
Maybe Aaron should become more of a fucking leader instead of a little girl.

How can you blame the defense? They gave up 20 fucking points. The offense scored 16 fucking points. That is pathetic. This might be the worst offense in the NFL. They cannot score touchdowns.

Blaming the defense is moronic. How many points are we expected to hold the Jaguars to? Last week it was 21, now its 20.

NEWSFLASH: The NFLs all-time best defense in its entire rich history said they tried to hold a team to under 17 points.

Is that the standard we should have? Do we have the talent of the all-time greatest defense in NFL history?

Giving up 20 points is fine. With out offensive talent we should have put up 35-40 at least.
Give me a f'ing break Partial. They gave up 20 pts to the 24th ranked offense inlcluding yet ANOTHER game winning drive. I repeat...We had the 4th quarter lead and would have had a 7 pt lead had Grant not dropped a TD pass..Wake up man..
