They weren't playing as poorly early in the year, were they? It just seems the last 5 or 6 weeks that the wheels have come off.
Yeah, I think they started to come off when Jenkins got hurt. They've been fully off since the New Orleans game.

      • Do you think it's really mostly because of Barnett's absence or do you think the team has given up and really isn't all that inspired lately?

        • no good; this is the day we get our breaks
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

          • well, there's a break!
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

Barnett's veteran leadership making defensive calls is what ails this defense the most IMO. Again, even if he isn't making plays he does a better job of making reads and getting his defense into position than Hawk has been. That's huge.

                  • has anybody noticed we're not jamming at the line much anymore?

                    • I'd say the QB just standing in the pocket is about 50% of it. The other 50% is the DL not even bothering to maintain gap integrity in the run game. At the end of the day, our front 4 is missing 3 of our best 6 lineman from a year ago. That's the difference.

                            • That was a lot of fight on that run for a guy who always goes down on first contact...
