2 out of 3 made to the pro bowl this year. Guess which ones?

I know stats don't tell everything; but the Pro Bowl IS about stats... so I call BULLSHIT on this... the bottom 2 stats got in, but the top DID NOT.
Wanna put names on these? BTW; if it was about wins; I question why Brees is in, and then why did 7 guys from the vikes make it last year?

Household names Bowl. I guess we don't get the love from ESPN now that the interception machine is gone.

Yeah I do think Rodgers deserved to get in, but I can understand why he didn't given that they are 5-9..Although if that matters so much, how did the Packers have any Pro Bowlers at all?

Manning got in because he's having a pretty good season leading a Super Bowl contender..No question Rodgers' stats are better, though.

I still don't know how the hell Favre got in..If it was about name recognition, how the hell did he get screwed over in '04 in favor of the most overrated quarterback of all-time Michael Vick? Probably doesn't hurt that he plays for a New York team.

Unfortunately, every year there's a few guys that make it on their name alone.

Would anyone choose Rodgers or a proven winner in Eli to be their teams QB?

Well the Pro Bowl is recognition only. It's not determined by general managers.

Right, I know, people seem to be acting like Eli didn't deserve it. He's the better player imo.

I don't think Rodgers deserved it, but he deserved consideration. Same with our former QB. Our former QB has thrown 9 TDs and 13 interceptions in his last 10 games, so it's really hard to argue that he deserves it. However, he gets consideration because of the Jets turnaround.

No; you're wrong. It's like saying Trent Dilfer was better than Dan Marino... of course some have opinions, but that doesn't mean opinions are right. He has a better running game so defenses have to honor that. Rodgers is far superior to what Manning is NOW! Look how terrible he was his first 2 years.

I dunno about Rodgers over Eli - but I'd stop short of calling Eli a proven winner.

I'll admit I haven't seem much of him this year. But up to and including last year's SB, he has not impressed me.

Yes, he outplayed Favre in the cold last year, but that wasn't saying much. I just haven't seen a lot of good performances out of him.

Not to defend ESPN, but they have absolutely nothing to do with the voting. That is on the players coaches and fans.
