PackerRats preseason predictions

As you recall, many of us made preseason predictions about the Packers' '08 season.

My prediction was 10-6. Perhaps I was suffering from some form of dylexia as the Packers finished 6-10.

Would someone like to bring up the thread about our respective Packer W-L predictions?

Patler, that sounds like a good task for you.

I predicted 10-6 as well. I was wrong in that I thought the Pack would have a top 10 defense. Obviously, that was way off. The Packers had enough 4th quarter leads that 10-6 should have been attainable. The offense actually went through fewer growing pains under Rodgers that I anticipated.

I predicted 9-7 but also noted I see the downside being 7 wins and the upside being 9 wins

I guess I overestimated the downside

I predicted 6-10 (last year). On the basis of that, I was in a "self imposed" exile from predicting for a year. Turns out, I was just a prophet, I was one year too soon. :P

I said 8-8...was expecting ups and downs, but not a complete collapse in November/December.

I started off with a 16-0 call but changed to 11-5...before the season started mind you.

I knew we were doomed when Iron Mike backed off of his normal 16-0 call.

I don't know if I made a prediction in that thread but I know I was predicting a record similar to last years record. I did not think there would be a drop off at the QB position and I actually thought there was an improvement this year, which IMO, there was. IF the defense was able to hold a few leads OR Rodgers was able to lead a TD drive in the final minute range OR we had made a few field goals at the end of games, we would have been close to that. As it is though, we were not able to win ANY close games this year and that's why our record is 6-10.

I did 9-7.

I predicted the same thing the year before. I really feel like I've been "right' two years in a row.

'07 9-7 prediction & a 13-3 record that we lucked out to get.

'08 9-7 prediction and we screwed up enuff to be 6-10.

I obviously hold the team's fate in my hands, What will I do next season?
