  • What football web sites do you follow regularly?

This came up in another post, so I thought I would start a topic for general information. What web sites do you routinely follow for football information? The ones I follow daily are:

Milwaukee Journal Online (Not their "Insider"): http://www.jsonline.com/
    Green Bay Press Gazette:http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com
    Packers.com
    NFL.com
    PackerRats

There are a bunch I look to for information, but I do not check them unless I am doing "research" so to speak.

I look at those (not the NFL one so much) and CBS Sportsline. My "My ESPN" is set up to post links to articles about the Packers from a variety of sources, too.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

I follow those sites + these:

ESPN (general sports info; since my Mom buys a magazine subscription, I get free ESPN Insider)
Fox Sports (I like their team reports)
      USCHO.com and SiouxSports.com (NCAA Hockey)
      MLS.com and soccerbyives.net (Soccer)
Yahoo Sports, Roto Times, and Roto World (Fantasy Sports)
      Nascar.com (NASCAR)

Pretty much nailed 'em all Patler. The rest just haven't been worth the time.

lol, come on now Patler, there is no football site other than Packerrats.

Seriously, I used to have at least maybe 8 different sites I used to go to for Packer/Football news. But coming to Packerrats, I get all the news I need from other peeps who love the Packers. What more do I need?

Daily: Pro Football Talk, JSOnline, Packers.com, ESPN, Deadspin, Football Outsiders, Madison.com (Wilde and the State Journal), and PackerRats. Not in that order.

Regularly: SI.com for Peter King and Zimmerman, National Football Post, NFL.com for video highlights and Schefter, foxsports.com for Jay Glazer and the best sortable stat database I have seen on the net, outside of profootballreference.com.

Oh, and if you want to find out how much you don't know about football strategy, then you should go to http://smartfootball.blogspot.com/ and prepare to be blown away.

I read a lot of the sites so far mentioned. Another pretty good forum is Packerchatters.com. The language there is PG-13 but most of the folks there are knowledgeable and non confrontational. Imagin that!!

For information with very little opinion I like to check out rotoworld.com. It is a great fanatasy football web site.

Daily: Jso, Gbpg, Pft, FootballOutsiders, advancednflstats.com.
Weekly: TMQ (on bspn pg 2), MMQB (Peter King)

Occasionally: I usually look at pro football reference for pure data that's easy to download. I like sports.yahoo.com mainly because of the "Splits", "situational stats", and the "3-year average" option for looking at their data.

Smart Football looks interesting... thanks pbmax.

Google Justin TV and your problem is likely solved. No programs to download.
