Jackson is not the answer for the Vikes. And I'm thinking their DCoor is gonna get some views for head coach which will put the Vikes in the same position as the Pack (looking for a coordinator, maybe changing schemes).
Sorry, Ras. At least your team got to be 'one and done'... better than neverwas.
Thanks Fos. Just got back, fans were really rockin the place but the Vikings couldn't overcome jackson whose played steadily worse since he was restored as starter. Eagles are a really tough defense and hats off to them. They played hard and McNabb made some nice plays under pressure.
Vikes defense was good but were on the field WAY too much in the second half.
I'm surpised Jackson saw the playing field with Ferotte healthy.
Frerotte was healthy two weeks ago. This isn't breaking news. Also, if you look at the two games before he got hurt, Frerotte was absolutely awful. He's also a statue in the pocket. That's why he got a reserved spot on the bench.
Jackson was very good against the Lions, great against the Cards. About average against the Falcons. A bit below average against the Giants and absolutely shitty today.
I expected his mobility might help against the blitzes but he never took off and run until the game was over. Would Frerotte have been better? Probably since it couldn't have been worse.

McNabb isn't. He is under contract through 2010.Originally posted by mngolf19Because Frerotte is worse. I'm thinking the Vikes go after someone in FA. Warner is available, McNabb is but I don't want him. If not, they may try to trade up in draft to get someone if there is a decent one available.Originally posted by imscott72Ferotte was healthy? Sorry Ras and Golf, it sucks twice as bad to lose a playoff game. Seemed like a great atmosphere from the noise over the TV, I think the late ticket buyers did their part. No jokes today, the season's end is never funny. Unless you are the Lions.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think T. Jack is one of those quarterbacks that, if not a coach killer, will cause any coach more hirsute than Childress to pull his hair out. Since, I don't know if this is just youth or inexperience or what, but he's amazingly inconsistent. One game he'll look amazing, and throw for three hundred yards and four touchdowns and three games later he'll look like he's entirely unfamiliar with the quarterback position.Originally posted by imscott72Ferotte was healthy? You start Jackson because you hope you're going to get that game where he's really, really on. You're afraid to start Jackson, because you might get that game where he's really, really off.
I don't think he should be the starting QB for Minnesota next year.</delurk>

I don't think that is right. They talk about McNabb being gone all the time after this season. You sure? Most of the Bears fans down here are hoping the Bears go after him.Originally posted by cpk1994McNabb isn't. He is under contract through 2010.Originally posted by mngolf19Because Frerotte is worse. Yes he is under contract through 2010 as both reported by FOX and the NFL Network. But the sentiment is that Donovan wants out and will demand to be traded.Originally posted by mngolf19I don't think that is right. They talk about McNabb being gone all the time after this season. Health always plays a part. The Vikes were a very, very good team this year. They had some weakness, but they were very strong on defense and that run game. Injuries hurt them down the stretch but they did have the pieces in place before the injuries.
The Packers could learn a thing or two from the Vikings offensive and defensive lines.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

FLorio at PFT has a blog post about Lurie talking to the Boston media (why Boston? no idea) and one of the things he said was that he was definitely interested in McNabb's return.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

They have to get a friggen QB though. Either they get some retread every year or they trot out Jackson who swings wildly from good to putird, usually staying more on the negative side.
