Completely agree. Boomer indicated that the safety non call was correct, so it seems to me, Chris Johnson going down and the Ravens playing inspired football is the reason for this win.

I agree. Tennessee hangs onto the ball on the two yard line and we're not having a discussion.

That said, woo-hoo!! Last time the Ravens won the SB, it was a fun time to be around here. (Redskin fans become Raven fans when the Ravens are winning.)

well, one thing we do know is that they wouldn't have gotten a first down on that play, they wouldn't have gained 23 yards on that play, and they would have been pushed back 5 yards with like 2:40 left in the game

it would have been third and 7 on the ravens 27 instead of 1st and 10 from the titans 45

it wasn't so much that they got the first down, its that the play resulted in a huge gain. and it shouldn't have happened

there was a good second and a half at least between the clock hiting zero and the ball being snapped. no excuse not to make that call

I saw the replay just now on the non safety and that was a great non call. On the play clock play it was a bad call but how do you know they wouldn't throw a TD on 3rd and 7? Nobody knows what the effect was and Lurker is right, there are LOTS of play akll game long that could have changed the course.

Another big game for Jim Leonhard - a forced fumble in deep territory to prevent the Titans go ahead score. He also recovered a fumble earlier in the game. Go big RED alum.

He also had a very nice punt return to put the Ravens close to field goal range when it was 7-7.

yeah, but we'll never know what might have happened. maybe flacco throws an int on third and long?

the titans made a lot of mistakes that helped cost them the game, but the refs also helped them lose the game

and thats taking the game out of the players hands IMO, and that should never happen.

and its not like they just barely missed it. that was on zero for a long time. and they have giant play clocks on both ends of the endxones. there is no excuse for missing that

If Fisher thought that play clock ran out he could have challenged it. From what I remember the rule on that is. The ref has to look down at the official play clock on his wrist, if then looks up if it is not snapped he throws the flag. So how fast could you look down at your wrist and back up probably 1 second tops and that is all that ran off.

I'm personally going to view the non-call on the delay of game as karmic rebalancing for the non-call on the forward lateral during the "Music city miracle."

Now Baltimore and Buffalo need to play in the playoffs so that the scales can be fully balanced.

Deangelo Williams certainly has elevated his game this year.

I get the feeling that this game isn't going to be close. Hopefully the birds will surprise me.

                                I hope so too.

Fun fact: The Vikings beat both of these teams!
