I shouldn't even be close. Favre actually played quite well in the loss at the Rams. 3 of his interceptions came after the Packers were down by three scores and he was just winging it to try to score. Of the first three, one was a little in front of Freeman, a second was a bad throw and another was the ill-fated throw to Schroeder that was picked for a TD. Who was responsible on that play is not certain - either Schroeder incorrectly changed a slant to a fly, or Favre didn't read the change in coverage properly. Favre still had some great plays avoiding the rush and had zero help in the run game - plus others turned the ball over as well, before the final three INTs. People should re-watch that game rationally to evaluate it properly. Delhomme tonight looked as bad as the worst QB I've ever seen.Originally posted by Lurker64Possibly harder. When Favre threw his 7 picks, we still loved the guy and figured "sometimes you have a bad game". I don't know if the Carolina faithful have quite as much affection for their QB..

Divisional game following the 2001 season - January of 2002. The Packers played pretty poorly, but they did have some flashes. I think if they had played their best ball it would have been a very exciting shootout.Originally posted by packinpatlandI happen to have that game on tape.......think I will re-watch it. Well to answer your question Ras, yes I would say I'm a secondary Cardinals fan. Even when we still lived in Green Bay, I had fun rooting for the Cardinals. It's cool, we just moved to Arizona this summer and bought season tickets and here the Cardinals are in the NFC Championship game. One thing I have to say is GO EAGLES! I really would like to go the championship game. That would be so much fun.

VCRs? Damn, I haven't even had a disk drive on any of my computers since '97 ... get with the times folks!
(BTW - did anyone notice the arizona scheme (there's that word again!) tonight?! they completely took the rbs away aside from the first drive and came with a custom-designed coverage approach that the panthers had no answer to ... we need that kinda of thinking! not necessarily "blitzing", tex....the cards have also scored more 3rd qrt points than anyone this season. that's testament to the work/adjustments at half time. coaching should help WIN games, not *ever* lose them.)
