Man, some ugly passes in this game.

I think they're playing in some gnarly winds. Eli has struggled a lot in those in the past (remember the Vikings game last year?), so the Giants are probably going to need to be able to pound the ball to score points.

I think so, but I recall the Meadowlands suffer from "swirling winds", whatever that means.

I wonder if this is when Manning breaks his streak of being a quality caretaker and returns to his old ways of struggling at home in cold weather. I mean, last year's improbable Superbowl run was all road games and during December the Giants were 1-3.

Is this much chipper than the Tennessee Baltimore game yesterday, or are we just giving the Ravens a pass because nobody pretends that they're not thugs.

Philadelphia's front seven is always pretty good, but all of the guys there are generally pretty obscure in terms of the attention they get from the media. Are they just not particularly special athletes playing in a good scheme?

Obscurish rules question, on a free kick following a safety, is it a penalty if you kick the ball out of bounds? This one doesn't come up often enough for me to know offhand.

They have a ood scheme despite what Tex says. Perhaps they have a great scouting department, ensuring solid players to execute the scheme.
