Another defensive guy. Maybe he will have Marinelli success.

Being the Head Coach of Detroit is the 180 degree opposite of "The Dream Job," IMO.

Good luck to the guy. He's going to need it.

              Schwarz: "Hello...Tire World."

Lions: "Hi...we'd like to make you Head Coach of the Detroit Lions."

Schwarz: "I gotta think about it."

Lions: "Think about it? This is a chance to be a head coach in the National Football League!"

Schwarz: "Look, let me get back to you. I got a guy wants to talk to me about whitewalls on the other line."
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

I'm going to say a little prayer for him tonight.

I don't wish any of our divisional rivals well...but I can't wish the Detroit situation on anyone.

He seems like he might be exactly the right guy...but can they get him talent? Uh oh. What if they turn it around?

I'm calling the guy Jim Schvantz.
