  • Changing Lives with Donald Driver

Here's a heck of a story about Donald Driver and an autistic kid... I don't want to copy the text because there are some great photos that really complete the article...

And here's more of the story about how this kid's life has improved...

Nice story. I almost got teary eyed, but I caught myself.

The Tom Hanks character in A League of Their Own would yell at you with: "There's no crying in football!"

By caught yourself do you mean punched yourself in the balls?

Sorry, Skin, didn't want to punch myself in the balls, so I cried anyway....

Having a brother in law who's mentally retarded, I can sympathize what that mom goes through.

Autism is so misunderstood and the public needs to know more about it.

Awesome story about a pure class act. It's stories like that and DD's foundation which should make SportsCenter, not the latest TO tirade or Pacman's shooting at a strip joint.

I had a few yesterday myself but this was a wonderful story about the little boy and what DD (and his Mom) did for him. You won't see it on ESPN or SI though.....
Is it really a halo or
                just a swelled head ?

Where would you guys rather see it? ESPN or SI? Maybe NFL.com? I'm thinking SI myself. Thoughts?

SI has the highest journalistic merit of any of those, by a mile.

Terrific story. Thanks for posting that.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

I Visit a number of sports' channels and I'd
also have to say SI, sometimes NFL.com.
