Worst roughing the kicker call ever. How does the ref blow that one? He didn't even run into the kicker, and the ref calls it roughing. Makes me wish they could review those.

The end of the half was justice.

Steelers leave three points on the field at the end of the half. In this game, that could be really big.

Yeah...everything should be reviewable. The refs are mostly old, blind and slow so why the hell not? The case could be made that the punter kicked the defender in the spine with his heel!

Frank Walker is playing a pretty good game. Dammit.

Threw this in the McDermott thread as well, but if you missed it, PFT has Williams shopping the Packers deal back to the Saints and Payton coughed up his own cash to up their offer.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

That was a SHerman draft, wasn't it?
But then we may never had traded him for a second round pick and had such a great need for wr, and thus would have never got Jennings.
              Draft Brandin Cooks WR OSU!

Guess we weren't the low bidder.

He didn't want to coach for us.

I'd rather live in NO too, no offense to anybody that lives in GB.

Both D's are playing lights out.

Ravens just got a break with a shanked punt and a PI call, but are still down by 2 - and I don't think they're going to get it.

Well, Polamalu just got a pick 6. Unless Pitt's D has a major meltdown, they're going to the SB. The Ravens just have no way of generating some quick points.

                    Hope he's alright.

Yeah, me too. I've never been a fan of him as a player, but God Damn you never want to see a guy get strapped to a board and carted off. I wish all the best to him.

Both Pitts and Balts defenses played great.

Difference was at QB. Big Ben stepped up and made plays but Flacco got killed. Troy almost had 3 picks by himself. An 18 QB rating for Flacco? Yuk.

Early reports had him able to move all of his extremities but that he was also in a great deal of neck pain. Godspeed to him.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

Yes it was VERY loud in the stadium. Very cool and very fun. I loved watching the recording (part of it anyway, my brother stopped the second half). After the kickoff out of bounds review we booed forever. Listening on the TV was just hilarious. It was like 15 seconds straight, then after the next play it started again, and then after the next play again.

I did think that Ken Whisenhunt screwed up switching to a prevent defense in the 3rd quarter and start of the 4th. His head was so far up his ass that it took the Cardinals losing their lead to finally pull it back out. I want to watch the NFL Replay which I think is tomorrow at 10:30 mountain time on the NFL network so I can make a better analysis, but those are my thoughts on the 3rd quarter for now. It seemed like the Cards were rushing only 3 D linemen for the majority of the quarter giving McNabb all the time in the world. On the last 4 plays, the Cards finally brought some pressure (not a lot, but a tiny amount) and McNabb immediately threw a pass high and then behind.

Wow, though. What a game. As a secondary Cardinals fan (much bigger Packers fan), this is still very exciting. It would have been disappointing if the Cardinals had lost this game. Further proof how much more of a Pack fan I am. The last word I would use to describe my emotions after last years NFC Championship loss would be disappointing.

Why would Rex Grossman be "jealous?" In a game against the Packers a couple of years ago, Rex earned a perfect ZERO QB rating!

He threw 3 interceptions in a half against the Packers. Two of those picks were returned for touchdowns.
