Knowing what we know today and how last season played out would you still have given up the number one pick this year for Parsons?

The Packers went something like 0-5 without Parsons. In theory, that would translate to 0-16 and the #1 overall pick over an entire season without Parsons. If Love ain’t the answer, you take Mendoza. If Love needs time, you trade the pick of Vegas for a boatload of picks, including the 2nd overall pick and Maxi “The Taxi” Crosby. Then you trade a boatload of picks in ‘27 for Archibald Manning.Originally posted by sharpe1027 View PostThe likelihood that a number #1 pick that late has even half the impact of Pardon? Not great.
Then again, the draft is crapshoot. If you can acquire an extraordinary machine like Parsons, you do it.I don’t want a battle from beginning to end

Haha. If they would have been 0-16 without the trade, it was an incredible trade for the Packers. Maybe the best trade in the history of the NFL. Of course, that's not the case.Originally posted by Anti-Polar Bear View Post
