I wasn't big on cb in round 2, but I definitely see why they took him. He has hardly begun and is doing everything right to be a great one. .... Not gonna pretend I can grade corners, but his highlights show me he has enough traits. (And Richard Sherman gave him excellent advice on how to get interceptions, if the coaches let him.)

2/3 of the game is mind and heart. I think he has it. Edit: See GB scout Mike Owen "WIRED RIGHT" is the most important thing. I haven't been stoked about a cb since Jaire. I hope they throw him in the fire right away so he can get the reps.
Oh I think he'll get every opportunity early to show what he can do. Packers wanted to demote Valentine last year, but Hobbs didn't work out.

      So you're saying he's not a . . . Cisse?

Agreed. Guys who make business decisions don't have great careers. I rail on Jaire (with good reason) but early on he was a willing tackler. After he jacked up his shoulder because he was a small willing tackler he became an unwilling "I got paid" football player in general. Maybe his knee was jacked, maybe not. I just think he didn't enjoy hitting or being hit.

We should have a contest. Maybe I'll make a thread. First player from this draft to make a pro bowl.

He made me think "safety" the way he attacks the run.

I watched a couple highlights, and the way he attacks the run, I don't think he's thinking about his safety at all.
