As for The Dentist, what's not to like so far? So he blows containment? Better than blowing a dude in a public bathroom. He'll learn as he gains experience. But man, is he fast getting to the ball.

He's already better than Rashan Gary, and he's soon going to exceed my prediction that he'd be "Enagbare Plus."
Goodell wouldn't care about that. He's probably done so several times himself. Might even award us a 3rd for it.

I also like The Composer. I think he has decent feet, but losing a year to a back injury hurt his development.
Butkus can't develop any players anyway, so IDK.

I think if they actually got a coach who knew how to develop college players into functional pros he'd be closer to starting. As it is, he's probably the backup swing tackle now and might be the backup to the backup at C.

Which brings me to Jennings. I want to like him, but 3 years on the team, and he's not really coming along. He fit the prototype of what they like as a prospect, but he can't play C, he's not a T, and he wasn't good at G.

OK, so that was a big digression away from DDS, who is already showing more this year than Gary did last year. Getting meaningful snaps each game should help him improve, and I think he will.

I get the impression that the sky's the limit for DDS's ceiling, but right now, he makes a lot of mistakes. They really need to coach him up.

He also makes a lot of plays. And experience is more important than walking him through something on wednsday.

True. I did not mean they shouldn't be playing him. I'd just like to see him not missing a few assignments.
