  • Terrion Arnold Released by Lions

Bail set at 1 million. There are a LOT of witnesses. He might not be able to buy his way out of this one.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

What is it with those first round picks from Alabama? hahaha. Actually this sounds a case of vigilante justice.

My gut feeling is to sympathize or empathize or whatever - like I did with O J.

What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Vigilante justice? Arnold allegedly targeted innocent victims.

Punk is trying to be “hood” when he ain’t even from the ghettos, according to the internet. His uncle owns a successful business - roofing, I think. Punk grew up with mo money.

I could see Ole Bobble, a self-made millionaire, carrying millions in cash and a tons of jewelry with him to an AirBnB - gotta tell the world his rags to riches story. Arnold? Punk’s a pretender and a phony.

Packers could be starting a couple of milksop corners in Nixon and Valentine this season, so what the fuck? Sign Arnold, yo! He ain’t hood but he can ball.

Yeah, sign him. If he'll do that much for a hundred grand and a few Rolexes, just think what he'd do for $5-20 for $5 or 10 million a year.

The Lions picked Arnold one pick before the Packers took Jordan Morgan. And the Packers were looking at CB's that year.

Arnold was not developing like a first-round corner in any case. He was a disappointment already, while Quinyon Mitchell is doing well (picked a few picks earlier). The Lions went for corner/slot Ennis Rakestraw in the second round, and so far he's been the Marshawn Lloyd of the Detroit Lions. From Pro Football Reference: "But they invested a day 2 pick in Rakestraw, and with Arnold’s career in Detroit likely over, Rakestraw represents a chance for the Lions to recoup something in what already looks like a disastrous 2024 draft class."

We focus on how terrible our GM can be, and focus on the mistakes, but other teams biff the draft too. The Lions sure did in 2024.

No doubt every football team could use its collective judgement level to take a dive like that.

In fairness when asked who are favorite pick of that draft was I voted Morgan. I thought we grabbed him early, but he was a guy I had mentioned a lot of times for our early 2nd. And everyone knows I wanted DeJean so there is that. Evan Williams developed into my 2nd favorite pick rapidly. Wasn't a fan of anyone else picked, although I'm warming up to Bullard. I hated the pick (as a safety) but he is making me not regret passing on DeJean. If Morgan does what I hope I'll even call the draft a pretty good one.

Oh....Terrion Arnold was always too slight for my taste. Figured he'd never play the run for shit. I hadn't watched his career unfold to be honest. Glad the Lions snaked him from us.
