Oh I agree that it's not a sustainable strategy. I think will just roll with who they have at Edge and play the hopium game with Wyatt and Hargrave in the middle. Sorrell sounds like he's improving each day, and I think when healthy LVN can give them quality snaps. Last season many teams got rid of the ball fast to counter Parsons, without him Gannon is going to be creative but the players have to be better. -

EAGAN, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings have named Kyler Murray their starting quarterback, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter, the expected conclusion to their quarterback competition despite a rocky series of practices leading to the decision.
Murray has been the heavy favorite to win the job from the moment he signed a one-year, $1.3 million contract March 12 following his release by the Arizona Cardinals, who will pay him $35.5 million. The decision pushes J.J. McCarthy, the No. 10 pick of the 2024 draft, to the sideline after 10 career starts and raises questions about his future. Quarterbacks Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer also remain on the roster.

I get the sense that Ben Johnson likes to practice the way Campbell does - a lot of physical hitting etc. in camp - which will make them tougher, but also more injured. Lions and Bears are basically signing any breathing body they can find to play in the secondary.Comment

The Cowboys have now signed both Clowney and Von Miller for this season. Interesting to see how much production they really think they can get out of these two along with Gary. Doesn’t sound like a real vote of confidence for any of their young pass rushers. Or Jerry just likes to assemble lots of new toys.Comment

Agree. I think a 37-year old Miller is more of a name than production at this (very late) stage of his career. For the contract/production, I'd rather have Brenton Cox Jr. than Miller. Kicking the tires on Clowney wouldn't have been bad, but GB has so many young Edge players (Sorrell, Oliver, DDS) that need snaps to develop I understand why they didn't.Originally posted by pbmax View Post
