At this point, La Fleur's pass game built off the run game isn't going to work if you cannot rush the ball. Its been a weakpoint before. He has to find a run game or switch it up. Defense has to be more gap disciplined on outside zones. They were killing them with the off tackle stuff.

Watson caught seven of 10 targets, averaged 2.13 yards per route run, completed two of three contested catches and had a red-zone touchdown. Morgan was charged with giving up five pressures, including two hits, but he was effective in the run game (72.5 grade) and was by far the team's best blocker overall. Sturdivant caught three passes for 22 yards, including a contested catch, and two of his three catches gained first downs. Golden had five catches for 100 yards and a score, and he drew a pass interference penalty. Moore ran 20 routes from the slot and caught three passes on six targets for 31 yards, with 23 coming after the catch, and had two first downs.

• LB Isaiah McDuffie: 90.0
• EDGE Lukas Van Ness: 75.9
• DB Javon Bullard: 73.4
• DL Javon Hargrave: 70.8
• LB Zaire Franklin: 69.3

McDuffie replaced Cooper (concussion) in the second half and made three tackles (two stops) over 18 snaps. Van Ness had two stops against the run and a quarterback hit. Bullard was once again good against the run (74.2) but did give up three completions. Hargrave had a pressure and three tackles. Franklin led the way with three stops and 10 total tackles.

Bottom 5 offense

• LG Jager Burton: 27.0
• RG Jacob Monk: 38.2
• TE Tucker Kraft: 38.7
• RT Anthony Belton: 38.7
• QB Jordan Love: 43.4

Burton gave up 10 pressures: five hits, five hurries. And he committed a false start penalty on fourth down and was the offensive line's lowest-graded run blocker (42.0). Monk gave up six pressures, including three hits. Kraft dropped two passes and turned 40 routes run into just 26 receiving yards, and he struggled as a blocker. Belton gave up five pressures, including three hits, although he finally played a penalty-free game. Love had three turnover worthy plays and struggled again under unrelenting pressure.

Bottom 5 defense

• LB Edgerrin Cooper: 38.4
• DL Karl Brooks: 41.4
• CB Brandon Cisse: 42.0
• DL Devonte Wyatt: 50.0
• CB Keisean Nixon: 52.4

Cooper struggled mightily against the run (36.3 grade) and gave up two catches in coverage, and his six blitz attempts netted no pressures. Brooks had just one hurry and missed two tackles. Cisse missed a tackle, committed a penalty in coverage and gave up five catches for 111 total yards. Wyatt continued a quiet start to 2026, producing just one hurry over 17 pass-rushing snaps. Nixon missed two tackles and gave up a 40-yard catch in the fourth quarter.

Special teams


The Packers had a field goal attempt blocked and nearly had an extra point blocked. Either Jonathan Ford or Anthony Belton were to blame for both protection errors. Bo Melton and Ty'Ron Hopper were both in on two tackles covering kicks or punts. Daniel Whelan put four of his five punts inside the 20-yard line. Skyy Moore had a fair catch on both of his punt returns, and he turned five kickoff returns into 134 yards.

Quarterback play

• Jordan Love: 43.4

Love's difficult start to the 2026 season continued. He was under pressure on 25 of his 55 dropbacks, or 45.5 percent, and he had three turnover-worthy plays. Love attempted six passes of at least 20 yards downfield and completed just one, the 45-yarder to Matthew Golden in the first quarter. When kept clean, Love had to get rid of the ball in 2.22 seconds. Quick pressure was constant. Receivers dropped three of his passes. The passing game is a mess, and the quarterback doesn't have many answers. It's increasingly hard to blame him with all the chaos around him, and the big worry moving forward is the building effect of playing under pressure and getting hit so consistently.

Stat to know


The Packers offensive line was tagged with giving up 28 total pressures, including 16 from Jager Burton and Jacob Monk. The guards are just not good enough. Burton, the third starter at left guard in three games, had a nightmare starting debut. Monk continues to be one of the worst starting guards in football. The Packers need Aaron Banks to get healthy and Cordell Volson to get up to speed quickly.

Couple things:

- I was not warm and fuzzy about a Packer win all week. Teams that play in overtime (Regardless of how long they play in OT) on a short week, usually lose the next game. Plus, I kept hearing all week, the Falcons haven't been to the Red Zone yet this year - That's just bad juju for the Packers. Then they announced Penix was starting. How many fuckin times do we as Packer fans see this, an opposing team changes their QB right before they play the Packers and that QB lights them up. It's a rhetorical question, but it seems this happens too often.
- My gut told me after the turnover on the Falcons first series, that if the Packers don't score, they're not winning this game. Fuck me, I hate it when my gut is right.
- Kraft needs to nut up or shut up - He played like ass. He didn't do one good thing, whether it be blocking or catching last night. If you don't want to be booed, play better!
- This O-line just down right sucks ass. When they started playing Jacob Monk in TC and preseason at RG, I knew we were going to have problems with the O-line. Seriously!!! We can't find a better guard than Jacob Fuckin Monk! He's not the only problem, but one that sticks out the most. They all suck!

I think we're in for a long season of shitty-ness.

What a heaping pile of shit of a game. I finally watched it this afternoon - not worth staying up late to watch NFL Network last night.

The burning question is, was this game a depressing aberration? Or was it an indication of how bad the Packers are this season? I guess we'll see about that as the season goes along. Optimist that I am, I can't clearly say things will snap back. I still wouldn't bet against the Packers in any given game, For now, though, it's a matter of coping with the shitty situation, and my way of coping is to pretty much put it out of my mind. So at this point, I have to see a week or two or three of goodness before I pay much attention again.

One thought from above: I have often said that PFF is stupid - pure bullshit. The inane crap posted above from that media puke demonstrates it in spades - completely different than anything observable. They were way worse than that.

I'm not ready to back off yet from my assertion about the O Line and O Line importance in general. The O Line was undeniably shitty. However, shitty playcalling and poor RB quality also had a lot to do with the debacle. And the worst aspect of the game was not the Packers offense but the shocking horrendousness of the Packers defense.

Go on YouTube and look at some of the analysis with clips. They show things like the first play of the second half where LG and LT both went after a LB and ignored the guy in front of them who stuffed the run. Or a screen play which was set up beautifully except for the pulling LG who failed his block turning a likely 30 yard gain into a loss. The shittyness of this Oline can't be overstated.

The Packers don't need an all time great Oline to succeed, but right now, they have an all time bad Oline. No RB, TE, QB or WR will improve this offense until the line improves a lot.

I was told by an attendee that initially the booing was for the refs. Especially after the Cox penalty on Penix. By halftime, it was half for the refs and half for the offense.
