Kraft has a ways to go to get back to his healthy form. Maybe it will be this year, but he's not close yet. Johnu Smith is getting better separation from coverage than Kraft is. He looks like he's just back from a Torn ACL is is working through the injury so so many do year one.

We need Jordan Morgan to develop into a stud as opposed to a Dud
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Cooper will obviously be missed a lot, but I doubt that keeps the team from winning. Reed is good, but we have plenty of talent at WR so he won't be missed that much. ZBB already wasn't much of an "anchor" unless you define anchor as something that holds you back. You know my take - the difference between a so-called "good" O Lineman and any old average guy meaning anybody this side of Marshall House or maybe Jacob Monk doesn't make a dimes worth of difference to the success of the team. Of course the O Line-ophiles are gonna disagree, but I'm expecting the Packers to thrive anyway, especially if/when Jacobs gets back. Our running game was decent enough last year with pretty much the same mediocrity in the O Line as this year.
Well, he will not practice this week. So unless you expect him to practice the week after the Bears game and then go on the next gameday, its been pushed back for 2 weeks now.

Kraft did what you say (although I don't recall the penalty). He made several great plays too and is obviously one of the top TEs in the league. Redman and Wylie are meh at best. I didn't see them do much on any of the few good running plays. Jonnu Smith should probably be used more than either of those two plugs, but all he did was catch one pass - that I recall.

Just in general, that PFF defies observation in way more cases than not.
Not really beat much at all.

The Buccaneers targeted Nixon 5 times, completing 3 passes. However, Nixon's tight coverage completely minimized the impact of those completions, as he limited the Bucs to a mere 5 total yards on those plays while also recording 2 pass breakups.

Here is the side quest for the team, people who solve this get to stay hired/contracted next year. Gute isn't off the hook yet, the Bucs are lousy.

As of now, the Packers have racked up 36 flags on the road (12 per game) compared to just 6 at home for their lone home game. Those 36 road flags lead the NFL, with the Arizona Cardinals — coached by Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur’s younger brother — coming in second place with 25. On the road, when the offense has to operate in a silent count due to noise, the Packers’ offense is not playing cleanly.

Through four weeks, Green Bay ranks second in total penalties, third in total pre-snap penalties and third in net penalties. If you want to throw out Week 1 as a weird mulligan week for everyone in the sport, the Packers have still posted 18 offensive penalties (compared to just seven on defense and five on special teams).

Maybe most importantly, though, the Green Bay offense is hurting themselves on first downs, which impacts the entire offensive series, far too often. So far in 2026, the Packers have been flagged 15 times on offense on first downs, the most in the league — with 13 of those coming in the last three weeks. More than half of those (eight) came on holding calls, with four false starts being the other category where the Packers received multiple infractions.
The road flags (first paragraph) and especially the pre-snap penalties on offense (third paragraph) on the road (silent count) have to stop. Yes the line is young but it can't continue.

I'm pretty disappointed in Morgan. He doesn't look like the same guy we drafted.

Tex often watches different games than the rest of us. Nixon had his best game in a long time. I jokingly said he is going to declare a holdout after this game unless they make him the top paid CB in the league.

Having a short memory is a positional requirement.

You might be surprised by who else is on the good coverage list.

Not surprised. OK a little given his age, but I maintain that was the worst trade Gutes ever made and might have cost us an Owl birth.

PFF scores have become increasingly erratic. They also don't know how to grade DL. It's a starting point for conversation I suppose.

Nixon overall has been fine this year except for one game, but I would not extend him. He's old, inconsistent, and not worth the contract he'd want. I'd expect Gute's 2027 draft to be heavy at OL and CB, and also grab a ILB and RB.

I know a lot of people want to dog on Nixon, but an okay-ish starting veteran CB who stays healthy and can potentially still return kicks is worth way more than what he's getting paid. He's hardly the biggest problem with the team.

As for Rasul, he went from good to very bad for BUF, then another resurgence for MIA and now WAS. Dude is old and slow but still has his instincts, so he's good enough in systems that play with eyes to the QB and safeties to protect him from being burnt toast. Good for him for lasting as long as he has, wild to think he was on the ARI PS and almost out of the league a few years ago.

Really? I wasn't aware that you objected to the trade!

I'll have to learn to be more vocal and forceful in my opinions.

PFF of course is pure bullshit. Yeah, that may have been the pathetic bastard's best game this season or in a long time or whatever - he actually stayed close enough to make a tackle several times after getting beat.

I read some media puke saying Nixon is maybe the most likely Packer to be traded. Normally I'm opposed to trading away starting players during the season especially at maybe the worst position where the team is lacking talent, but Nixon? I would just hope some GM would have as inflated an opinion about Keisan as some of ya'all in here and give the Packers something/just about anything for him.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Saying he had one good game doesn't equal an inflated opinion. And since we are almost certain not to extend him and this season is more lost than when we traded Rasul I'd say that moving Nixon would probably make sense.
