McCarthy damn near gave that game away. 1st and goal on the 6, 1:38 left, Tampa had two timeouts, and he had Rodgers pass twice, eventually settling for a FG and leaving Tampa time to tie it.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Yep, ARod refused to let me down. Still getting clocked in the pool though.

You guys should all sign up. Can still compete week to week. Its a fun exercise to work through each week's game.

A reminder that you might think you are tough but then there are NFL players.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played the game without having slept. Crazy.

Its also possible you have a better sense of risk assessment and aren't at the mercy of a team doctor, This seems almost too extreme for the sport where everyone is a quick healer.

Am I reading this right? Hurts was allowed to play in London even though they knew he had blood clots?

                Maybe.

RapSheet hasn't changed his post. Tom Pelissero has changed it after talking to the agent. Now they say he did not sleep at hospital during tests but was able to sleep back at team accommodations (they don't say hotel, it sort of sounds like he slept at the stadium/locker room).

But the question of what clots and when remains open. Even before Pelissero walked the danger from sleeping back, it wasn't clear why he was seen in London or what their scans showed.

How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD. x.com/TomPelissero/s…

Just spoke to Jalen Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, who clarified that while Hurts was up until early Sunday morning getting evaluated at a hospital, he was able to sleep upon rejoining the team and the Eagles set aside a room for him at the stadium. Videos from the stadium show Hurts coming onto the field just before kickoff and he felt rested enough to play.

Obviously, there had to be a reason to take him to the hospital. So the likeliest thing would be the superficial clot had moved during the trip and the trip to Hospital was to see where it went.

Rams HC Sean McVay told reporters that WR Davante Adams ruptured his hamstring and now will be sidelined 6-10 weeks.

Breaking: Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday due to a superficial blood clot.

These "keep it close" penalties are getting too obvious.
23-17. SF sacks QB. Game over effectively with 3 mins left. Oops. Illegal contact automatic first down. It's getting ridiculous. It was 4th and 8

Someone has to save Washington from Dan Quinn who didn't know it was 4th down earlier
