  • Where's the equity?

The Packers lead the league in being called for roughing the passer, with six after the three on Sunday.

Jordan Love has been hit 39 times. Not one penalty has been called on those hits.

Other teams are just really good at playing within the rules. /sarc

Don't forget that Booker launched himself like Warren Sapp at Chad Clifton in the playoffs to spear Love square in the head. No flag. The NFL did send him a sternly worded letter and fined him a modest amount (it was his 3rd hit to Loves head in like 6 weeks).

By my count Love has been hit in the head once with a hand and twice helmet to helmet without a call. Never mind the "he hit the QB too hard" calls others get. There are a handful of youtube shorts documenting the horrible officiating vs. the Packers this year including one vs. the Vikings that showed identical plays where we got flagged and the vikings didn't.

LaFleur said Love is too nice. Doesn't complain to the officials. He said QBs who complain all the time seem to get more calls.

He might have to start throwing up his hands and calling for it. Rodgers and Mahomes have been doing that for years.

The guys with the highest name recognition get more calls. I can remember early in Favre's career feeling he didn't get the calls that Marino and Montana got.

Early that was mostly because Favre was running into people first. Like a pinball loose in the machine. Bouncing off them before throwing a howitzer.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
