  • Official Packers At Lions Game Day Thread

Its all baseball on my brain but we will soldier on despite getting home at 1 AM last night from Milwaukee. NFC North won't tolerate excuses.

Josh Jacobs is active and is the new dictionary picture of a mixed blessing. It remains to be seen how much he will play. If you judge solely by Offense side of the ball self-interest, he might see 25 carries. But hopefully cooler heads prevail because you can't Dorsey Levens him this week.

Zaire Franklin is out this week and I am more worried about McDuffie than Hopper. This is definitely short man bias and I am working on it.

Gannon seems to be legit which is something I both counted on but also am surprised by. In two weeks I will begin to worry someone will poach him. The Defense might hold up this week. Campbell was trending to be available and Jordan Riley is off the PUP but Questionable. I hope he can give them some snaps.

On offense Banks is still Questionable and last I read Glover was still taking starter snaps with Tomlinson. Seems like a Game Day decision. Rooting for Zeitler and Banks.

Love and the offense are potent enough that even the hint of professional grade O line protection gets points. Mostly my worry is Love's health. He also, to my eye, is getting better under pressure which is again, both blessing and curse.

This will be a close one and likely a shootout.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    Go Pack Go!!!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I was half right last week in that one team didn’t score much. But I’m going back to the well and predicting a weirdly low-scoring game. 20 - 17, Loins.

I lost over 3K this week playing poker, most of it from PLO. And it pertains to the Packers, how?

Usually when I have a bad week at the tables, the Packers tend to pour salt on my wound with a loss.

Looks like Banks will play for Tomlinson today. They're holding out hope that Glover is the future art RG.

                            Tomlinson not Banks. Zeitler inactive?

Rhyan hurt and monk in. He and Glover screw up pass pro on 3rd down and force FG and eventually a miss because the Packers can’t get the snap off.

Too many little things cost them.

good opening drive but bad start.
