Chargers signed LB Kevin Burnett to a two-year contract.

He chose San Diego over Houston, Green Bay, and Oakland. Used as a nickel 'backer/special teamer in Dallas, Burnett will push Matt Wilhelm and Tim Dobbins to start inside for the Bolts. He can also play OLB in a pinch.

no surprise; another agent trying to fish interest out of GB most likely...maybe to get the salary upped.... but TTT is not biting

He seemed like a potential guy

Oh lord, I can already hear it:

The end is near because TT couldn't even get Burnett to visit!

Nobody wants to come to GB because TT is such a cheapie.

The 2009 season is doomed because TT won't sign any FAs.

It appears TTT does not discuss numbers much before FA's get here much; this seems to be against the norm. TTT is a free agent cheapie. Free agents will come to GB if we pay and we'll end up some some lower tier guys. I don't recall anybody saying 09 is doomed so the last point seems to be an attempt at creating drama. Plus, he's already signed a free agent...although the only thing I know about him is he talked trash against Tom Brady before getting toasted a couple days later.
