I think Cushing and Maybin are better fit at Elephant Backer for Green Bay than Orakpo. Cushing for the immediate impact, Maybin for the long term upside. I don't trust Orakpo's hips in space.

Would love the Orakpo pick. He is powerful enough to be very good. The solution is to don't play him in space much, Lurker. How often does DeMarcus Ware drop back

I would be fine with Jenkins, Raji or Orakpo. Right now one has to be looking at Raji with the lack of OL depth, but if that gets fortified I'd probably want Orakpo as he's a beast. The more I watch his clips on youtube, the more I like him.

Orakpo has the makings of a bust. Hopefully TT does not select.

LT or trading down may be the way to go.

Cushing's got some serious moob action going on. Doesn't pass the sniff test.

How much money did A. Smith make J. Smith? He should send him a thank you card for blowing it.

Why not? They don't have anyone else at WR who is outstanding. You need at least 2. Besides, Housh may not be a #1 guy. He may have benefited from the attention drawn by Chad Johnson.

Housh is going to be their #1, Crabtree is going to be starting as a rook though likely for Seattle. You don't pass up that sort of talent.

Mike Mayock and Mike Lombardi on the NFL network have Orakpo as the next Vernon Gholston, and have some serious doubts about Cushing in that if he couldn't be a 3 down LB at USC, he wouldn't be one in the NFL and wouldn't be worth a high draft pick.

I'm all for trading down, but to who, and who is the player that will make a team want to trade up? Maybe Sanchez, but Tampa Bay doesn't have a second. Jets do, but we already have their 3rd, so they may not want to.

All I can say is I hope not.

I don't like Orakpo--and that's after having seen him play numerous times; I don't like Maybin; And I don't know much about Cushing, but I really don't like the idea of the Packers taking an OLB.

Ideally, we get a shot at Eugene Monroe or Jason Smith. Don't rule out Andre Smith either.

I also would love to see the Packers take Malcolm Jenkins, and I wouldn't mind seeing them take Vontae Davis.

Also, Crabtree likely will fall more than shown here. I'm not real enthused about the idea of taking him, but that would be better than anything in the defensive front seven or anything other than OT on offense.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
