    Packers re-signed TE Tory Humphrey.

Humphrey, 26, caught 11 passes for a 14.7 YPC average off the bench last year. He'll likely only make the Packers if they carry three tight ends. Donald Lee is entrenched as the starter Jermichael Finley offers much more upside.

    Packers waived DE/OLB Kenneth Pettway.

He only would've cost $620K to keep, but is coming off a torn ACL. The 26-year-old offers little defensive value and may not resurface before camp.

This pretty much guarantees that TT will draft a DE/OLB in the 1st round.

I dunno...Snake likes it. We get him at half price and he actually played/looked deece last year. Looks got vs. the 1.1 million tender and TT looks smart there. Dude has speed and had some moves on his catches last year in 2008. Tory might be OK...esp. at that price. Good deal.
Snake's Twitter comments would be LEGENDARY.........if I was ugly or gave a shit about Twitter.

I can't imagine that TT won't draft a TE somewhere along the way this year. Maybe one of those classic 5th/6th round guys - give him a chance to compete.

we need a lot more 5th or 6th round choices in this draft--
tt will have to trade down to get more

I like it, too. We had to cut at least one of the old 4-3 DE's & Ken had the knee at the end of the season.

This is ridiculous. TT cut a street FA that we had to get last season after half of our D line went down and signed a TE for the vet minimum and then gbpackfan says it is a devastating move to counter the Cutler trade??

That was what around here we call a joke.

After reading some threads and posts here and on other forums I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not...

Watch Tory Humprhey catch the winning TD pass in both Bears games this year now that we've brought this up.
