Family members report Danny Ainge suffered a minor heart attack and is recovering. He is just 50 years old.
He is certainly the best all-around athlete to come from the state of Oregon. At North Eugene high school, he became the only player to win first team all-American honors for football, basketball, and baseball. He led his basketball team to back-to-back state championships.
This is a reminder to all of you posters older than 20 out there. You need to take care of yourselves even if you were once a great athlete. My own father was an all-state first basemen in high school but had a fatal heart attack at age 49.
