I am hoping for Oher. Seems like a Packer Person and we need an OT or so.Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

It doesn't start for a couple of hours and a long time until the Packers are on the clock.
You guys are going to have 20 pages of nothing until this gets going.
You will have to start a new thread once the draft actually begins.
It is just nervous chatter. Just calm down be quiet and let it unfold.
Ted has done his homework and has possible trades loaded and waiting for the trigger pull to be agreed upon.
Whether you like it or not Ted will do what he thinks is best and there is nothing you can do about it.
Hold your water grab a cup of coffee and relax for a couple of hours or better yet do something productive. There will be plenty of time to talk between picks.

No kidding. ALso, water or coffee? Beer will do a better job. However, it might raise the level of obnoxiousness in here.Originally posted by falcoOriginally posted by CaliforniaCheezIt doesn't start for a couple of hours and a long time until the Packers are on the clock.

All of these picks look familiarOriginally posted by RastakRick Gosselin's final mock:
1. Detroit Lions:
Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia
Team needs: QB, MLB, TE, DT
Comment: Bobby Layne was a Pro Bowl quarterback the last time the Lions won a championship in 1957. Detroit hasn't had an elite quarterback or won a championship since then. Stafford, a Highland Park product, gives the franchise hope for the future....
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Im prepping the grill for brats. Got the beer and am stocking the mini fridge next to the couch. Have dual monitors set up, one will stream the NFL Network and the other has Pakerrats.Originally posted by RastakOriginally posted by cpk1994No kidding. ALso, water or coffee? Not a bad idea. I'm going to setup a table by the bigscreen and then setup my Samsung 22" monitor to connect to the laptop.Originally posted by cpk1994Im prepping the grill for brats. I noticed that this morning when I was comparing my picks to Gosselin's picks. Gosselin's picks were eerily similar to some fool on this site.Originally posted by pbmaxAll of these picks look familiar

Happy draft day!
After weighing all the options I'm hoping for Knowshon Moreno.
Good grind-it-out running backs are important if you want to keep the opposing defense honest and win the Time of Possession stat. A solid jump up in the running game could be really big for us this season.
Mayock has Moreno as the fourth best football player on his list of top 100 players.[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Funny enough...ESPN 2 has Kiper's top ten list of "Best Available" and has Matthew Stafford listed third, I think.
Uh, Mel, he's not available any more. Take him off there."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."
