The nice thing is that we had so many prospects when we lost Tauscher.

I'm thinking Barbre, Giacomini, Colledge or Sitton are best bets to play RT.


By the time next year comes and we have to replace Clifton, I'm hoping one of these latest prospects is ready to either play LT or to play another position and move someone else to LT.

Is the guy we finished the season with last year that bad? Is there something wrong with just bringing in a couple of UFA's to push him?

Is anyone upset that we didn't get Duke Robinson vs. Jamon Meredith? Just asking since Robinson was a name being floated out there, and he's from a sexier program.

Now you should know by now that the school they come from doesn't matter. See Jennings, Greg, and Driver, Donald.

The school means very little to me and also the competition they played against means very little to me. So what that Jennings played at an unknown school against supposedly lesser talent, he's kickin ass in the NFL.

Sure, and you are right, just guaging people's reaction, not making any statement, since I don't know these players well. Just wondering what others thought. Obviously the brass knew who was available and picked Meredith.

Most mocks drafts had the Pack drafting Meredith in the 2nd rd. TT still get him even without a 2nd or 3rd round picks.

IMO he's well below average

I think he's close to average. I remember his first game he dropped a punt 2 yards deep in the endzone and killed it right there. I thought if he can kill punts like that consistently he'll be okay in this league. Sure enough, the next punt he killed inside the 5. I think he's okay, he just doesn't have the greatest leg.

Same with getting Lang (some had him in the 3rd).

If TT got some good FAs/yr, I'd have no problem with first reactions to most of his draft picks.
