I'm sure Ted Thompson wasn't too upset. The Derby doesn't seem to be his thing.Originally posted by mraynrandunless you are the seventh guy who didn't get to goOriginally posted by GunakorGuys would kill to have a teammate like this. What an outstanding individual. Thank you Aaron. Well done.

A Woodson jersey would be another good one to have, as the guy was all but written off as a soft, selfish has been until he got to Green Bay. The way he's stepped up here has been admirable.Originally posted by cpk1994In the mean time, I should get a "Woodson" name tag to put over "Newsome". Then the jersey will be relevant again.#14

You are exactly right. This has a lot to do with his faith. By that I mean doing the right thing as much as possible not because people want you to do the right thing, but because ultimately it's the right thing to do. Kampman is in this same mold of character and he sure was a big influence on Rodgers. Glad to have these guys on our team.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersI think Kampman has helped him a lot. I read a story last year. I think Kampman was his roommate for awhile, and I think he really helped Rodgers out. I think it has a lot to do with his faith. I'm sure most of it was his upbringing, but he has matured since he got to Green Bay.Originally posted by Scott CampbellI just hope its not too good to be true. He seems like a great guy, and handling a very difficult situation with an incredible maturity level.

The long hair was pretty cool. Wish he'd bring that back as well.
It's cool he took teammates out, but lots of players do things like that so I'm not going to go crazy over it. Regardless, it was a nice gesture and good to see he's taking care of his teammates.
