He plays the same as what Arod is doing in GB and its a battle to the end and there really isn't a clear cut winner.

IF he does play good, and the Vikings succeed, you will not want to be a TT loving Packer fan because it will be extremely annoying as the Favre supporters will out number you.
Really? RIght now its 70-30 that believe TT was right.. If he plays well he makes TT do nothing. TT doesn't
give a shit about wqhat Favre does or doesn't do. TT only cares about his team, the Green Bay Packers. ANd he isn't going to shove anything in my face even if he wins. I love ARod as our QB and FAvre can't change that.
Prior to the arm injury BF was 25-6 in last 31 games. And while I like having ARod, if the Queens get to the SB, I think the TT support would fade away.
It isn't going to fade away. If the PAckers go 11-5 and beat the Vikings twice, the Vikes go 10-6, but get to the SB, his support will fade? No. Won't happen. His support will go as team performance goes. AN overwhelming majority are now sick of Favre, so it doesn't matter what Favre does. Its only idiots like Mobb, gex and paco that will try to rub peoples nose in it and they hate TT to begin with. They aern't real Packer fans anyway.
    this guy (or gal)....

it says alot about a person who feels the need to name-call on a public forum. this place is for MERE entertainment; dont take it or the "characters" on here SO seriously...the state of the packers or favre will change your life NONE

    evolve young woman or man....

    God bless you
Maybe if you quit jacking all these Favre threads and quit acting like a 4 year old who is just here to stir up shit, I'd debate you civilly. THings were great until you came back and fouled up the forum.

I wouldn't take the name calling on here too seriously either.

Maybe I'm crazy, but you seem to enjoy getting underneath peoples skin as much as anybody.

Do you truly believe that you have any room to talk? You are one of the biggest Favre trolls and pot stirrers on the forum. One of the few reasons why I hardly read this forum anymore...same people, same shit every day.

            I've missed you Michele.

I think its pretty rough on any Favre supporter on any forum right now. Hopefully he'll have his day in the sun again - not at our expense though.

I don't agree. His arm looked diminished, and I think I pointed that out at the time last year. But it's also personal conjecture, so nobody will win the argument. That's just the way I saw it. His last couple of years, Sherman let him skip most of the camps. The fact it was pointed out how hard he worked before 2007 was telling, and I remember him saying that he was in the best shape of his career. It took a year, but McCarthy got him to work hard. That didn't happen at the end of Sherman's years in GB.

Trying to find articles to back some of this up.

              From 2007:

Well, maybe not all the rest. The Packers are 5-1 this year, and Favre, at 38, is off to his best start in years. Teammates say he's in the best shape of his career

"As I said in February when I announced that I was coming back, I am excited about the young talent on our team and the improvements we're going to see from one year to the next. I really enjoy the young guys I'm playing with. I'm working hard down in Mississippi right now, rehabbing, and I plan to be in the best shape of my life. I look forward to playing with this team and seeing what we can do. I think we can be pretty good."
2007 was also the year in which he announced he was coming back the soonest, and he was gung ho to give it his all.

You could be right that he worked hard in 2005, but I know that wasn't always the case in recent years.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

I've missed you more, Scott. Good to see you again

If Favre goes to MN, the only support I will still have of his is an old jockstrap that even I won't be able to hold anymore....

I've always wondered what the other 53 guys think about the primadonna treatment he received. I know I'd be wondering "if I make the Pro Bowl this year, can I just show up whenever I feel like it - like Brett".

I think you need to re-read some threads. I have actually passed along Favre info that I found, including the part about Childress still being in Minnesota today. I don't bring threads from last year back to the top. I have very civil in regards to Favre this time around. In fact I pulled up this past post of mine in the "Favre comeback Part Deux" thread:

Rodgers has already shown that the Packers offense runs just fine without Favre. ALso, Brett Favre still has the biceps tendon injury to deal with. He will need surgery unless he wants to be a detriment. Also, Wilf had to see the last 4 weeks of last season and come to the realization that a 40 year old broken down QB won't to his team any good. FWIW, Wilf is on record from Febuary saying he isn't interested in Favre even if he were available.
Now, is that something a Favre troll would say?

I think you should also read some of the other non-Favre threads aw well. You will find me in civil debate with Patler, Fritz, Gun, and others. I am no where near as bad as Mobb is.

As a guy who gets pretty worked up himself, I think you get pretty worked up cpk. Here is what works for me when I'm in need of some calming down.

Scott Campbell's 3 Step Guide To Posting Serenity

                      1) Count backwards from 10 before responding.

                      2) Take 5 deep cleansing breaths to clear your head.

                      3) Cheap shot Harlan - squarely in the balls. (repeat if necessary)

I was skeptical at first - but it really works. The tension just miraculously evaporates right through your pores.

The world would be a better place if we'd all just follow this simple guideline.
