I'm going on record here as unimpressed, if for no other reason than this: guys don't suddenly learn to play QB at the age of 30. Ah, I still remember his career best season....20 TD passes, and a 52% completion percentage. Of course he did rush for 1000, and that led his team to a 7-9 record....VICK DA GREAT!!! We'll see, but to gush over him after 2 and a half games.....well, that would be like naming atari bigby player of the month in '07. Or saying the gunslinger has learned to play within the system after one highly motivated season where he managed to throw only 7 interceptions.....

WOULD THE REAL BRENT....ER VICK PLEASE STAND UP!!!
I just got back from lunch and watched the Eagles/Jags highlights on NFL TV. About 80 yards of Vick's passing and 1 of his TDs should never of happened. Horrible defense by the JAGS (is there a double meaning in their team name). Still some of Vick's throws were amazing, I am not ready to put him anywhere near the top 5 in NFL QBs.
    I blame Kampman.
I only saw highlights but AK didn't get anywhere near Vick but then again nobody else on Jax line did either...
On 1 TD to Machlin he should have been in the hospital. The S had him all lined up on a deep throw against the sideline. And then the S changed his angle and passed 2 feet in front of Machlin as he caught the ball and went to the house. Machlin was totally stetched to make an amazing catch and he should have taken a helmet in his ribs and been knocked silly.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Hey Bobble and TD, aint you foolz late to a fucking clan rally?

To me vick is showing what happens when you fuck up your life. You either get on with fucking it up or fight hard to climb out of the hole you dug. I cant stand vick and hope he fails for being or having been such an unappreciative piece of crap. At this point though I got to say that he is showing signs of someone who hasnt thrown in the towel yet. He will never be Peyton Manning but he is good enough to win in todays NFL.

Glad I'm a season ticket holder (Gold Package).

Talented teams? HE WAS THE TEAM

His best reciever was Alge Crumpler and he had DJ Duckett and an aging Warrick Dunn at RB. The guy also just happened to be the first QB ever to beat the Packers at home in the playoffs. He always had the talent but never put in the work, he thought he could just trust his legs. This season with the Eagles he is studying more than ever and is actually keeping his eyes downfield instead of trying to run everytime a play breaks down. Now I don't agree with anything he did but he did his time and with the help of Dungy seems to be going in the right direction. You can differently tell he has matured just by the way he plays. I have yet to see him act cocky after a big play like he did earlier in his career. Instead he either does nothing or celebrates with his teammates.

                • Im so torn when it comes to today's game! The Latino on sports reporters (espn) earlier expressed my sentiment TO THE LETTER: would be nice to see pack reach they're full potential and do the damned thing this post season. But if they were to win today then lose next week, I'd rather see Vick da Great move on (his story transcends imho)...of course no one can predict what will happen after today..thus, Im torn SO much..obviously Im not a staunch packer backer like I once was (thanks ted thompson..sigh!) back when i would be depressed for 4 days after a GB loss..i will be pleased either way

Pack is DEF a better team, but more inconsistent

                  I predict Driver will shine

Nothing describes the human condition better than a pampered athlete turned murderer turned pampered athlete again. I mean, who can't relate?

they have a pretty tough schedule for the next 8 games. it'll take a miracle.
