    Cullen Jenkins Injury Status

    His torn pec sidelined him last year. Now he is missing OTAs due to an ankle injury (surgery??) according to Bedard at JSO?

    I hadn't heard about an ankle issue. Does anyone know any details? How serious? When/how it happened? I was really hoping he'd be 100% by now with the pec, the ankle is news to me.

    I wouldn't get too worried yet. Any player that has even a mild injury is kept out of OTAs.

      I'm hoping if he did get the ankle surgery Bedard refers to it was just a quick scope to clean things out while he was already on the shelf with the pec. I was mildly surprised to see that Bigby was still sidelined, but as you mentioned even slight ailments will keep a guy out of OTAs.

      I'll go breathe into a bag and calm down.

            not a bad idea for the injury prone players to be taking it easy now anyways
