Bedard has been pretty negative all offseason about Kampman converting to OLB, so it was nice to read this.

Biggest thing I gleaned from today: Aaron Kampman has come a long way since the start of OTAs. He's no great athlete or anything out there, but he's starting to look more and more comfortable. He tossed the formidable Quinn Johnson out of the way without much problem at one point. Stuck with some receivers down the field too.

Interesting, because several other writers chose to write about Kampman dropping smoothly into coverage and batting passes away twice. I get the feeling that no matter how well Kampman plays, Bedard will not be one to say, "You know what? I was wrong! Kampman is doing very well."

From what I've been reading, doesn't sound like Brohm is making much progress. Still taking sacks because he is holding on to the ball too long. Is it still early with him, or is it a little late to be saying it's still early?

From the link I just posted.

Brohm seems to be getting more and more comfortable in this mini-camp after a rough start on Monday.

I don't remember Aaron lighting it up in his second preseason.
