So Poppinga and Will Blackmon (after all his health issues and finally demonstrating his abilities ) are gone?

      Nope.

Blackmon will stick around if for no other reason than his ST abilities. Always have to remember that third aspect. That said, I think he may stick around at corner as well.

I have only two words for anyone thinking the Pack should cut Blackmon because he is "only" a special teamer:

After reading through all of the disagreement, I still like my list. I think all of my guys will be here. I think there will be a surprise or two this year with one or two of the players I left off that people think are safe.

Yup. Most of the time, for players that aren't starters, specialists, or primary backups the way that they make the roster in the first place is either "long term potential" or "special teams abilities." You can get cut if you milk the "long term potential" card for too long without showing it, but teams will rarely cut a good special teamer simply because he's not all-world as a third stringer.
