I'd say it's way too early to go that far. It sucks that he isn't signed but there is a whole lot of waiting going on until all the slotting is done.

I confess I am more happy that some posters might have to have a dose of crow over Harrell's level of commitment and toughness than I am about his prospects. His odds of sustaining productivity can't be good if the prognosis story is true.

If he makes it to the regular season and is productive, that itself is a victory at this point. But I don't think the organization can count on him for long.

I also think whoever leaked the story about Harrell coming in fat and happy and thus causing his back injury when he came in for the offseason workouts (Winter 2008) should be fired again. A back injury this severe wasn't likely the result of seven weeks of laying around.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

        LOL.

I think they got him last January.

At what point do you start to worry? Raji needs conditioning and pre season game experience.

I'm all ears... my back is in constant pain, has been for years.
I had tendonitis in my shoulder while playing golf and couldn't raise my arm above shoulder level without lots of pain. Shot 87 the first day of the event. I had acupunctune done the next morning and had full range of motion, I shot 67 and missed the cut.

            67? Damn!

Shot a 63 at PGA-West Palmer Course (same tees, same pins) the day after Duval shot his 59.

Out of college I thought I was good enough to play with the big boys. I quickly learned I wasn't good enough to play with the almost big boys. Still it was a fun 5 years.

I tell my friends I was just good enough to become a CPA.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Back pain and golf don't mix well Wist.

After 2 back surgeries, I'd put the odds of Harrell having a notable NFL career at less than 5%. I think he's facing some ridiculously long odds, as back injuries can flare up at the drop of a hat.
No, they don't... my game comes and goes according to how cooperative my back is.

Can't shoot a 67 like TD, but I'm usually under 80... unless my back is flaring up - have looked into acupuncture a little, but not seriously. Back is getting bad enough now though, that Im ready to try anything.

I'm very happy to shoot 75 now, I'm up to a 9 handicap. Haven't played competitively for over 10 years.

My back was one of the reasons I quit, too many hits playing football.

My experience with acupuncture, as well as other chiropractic care, is that it's not really a permanent cure but it is a temporary solution. Whatever pain you have will go away for a while, but it will return eventually, at which point you go in for the same (or a similar) procedure.

Thankfully, Harrell's rookie contract will pay for a lot of acupuncture.

Obviously, I'm not too confident that Harrell will stay healthy. It is good to hear that Jenkins appears to be back to the way he was last year. He was a beast in the first four games.
