PACKERS SIGN JENNINGS FOR 4 YEARS
From wwmt.com
Greg Jennings is a happy Packer.
Friday, Jennings signed his first pro football contract, agreeing to a 4-year deal with Green Bay.
The Packers drafted the Bronco receiver in the 2nd round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Jennings would not disclose the terms of the deal but said that the contract was equal to that of other 2nd round picks.
"I didn't want to have to, or even think about the possibility of a hold-out. The Packers came to me with a good offer, there was a little bit of back and forth negotiating but not much," says Jennings.
Western Michgan's all-time leading receiver leaves for Green Bay this Wednesday. Jennings has already purchased a home in the Green Bay area,

I'm looking forward to him having a big year. He catches EVERYTHING thrown his way. He just has to learn to get off the line and he'll be the 2nd best WR in GB right away.
He's got some polish. He's pretty smart. He's a hard worker, a good athlete and a great natural pass catcher. He's going to make his mark, SOON!!Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

I'm looking forward to seeing him have a big year as well. I'm also looking forward to seeing him take his first big time NFL hit, hold on to the ball, get up and run back to he huddle. It's smooth sailing after that.
My gut says he will be a player.
