  • Wow - has the Viking promotion dept. jumped on this!

The Viking homepage has a link to "Brett Favre Central" a special page dedicated to Favre coverage. It leads their drop down lists!

Every Favre banner has links to ticket sales, statements about "limited tickets still available" etc.

    Talk about saturation!

I just can't decide when I want to go. Should I go early, on the idea that he'll be out of shape and unfamiliar with the offense, or should I wait and go later, on the idea that historically Favre has flopped statistically in the second halves of seasons for about the past five years.

      Decisions, decisions.

Assuming that he holds up. And remains the starter.

But then there's an outside shot that he'll re-re-retire after two games this season, when he will have overtaken Jim Marshall for all-time consecutive starts.

              Maybe I should go sooner.

P-Man turned me on to this thought some time back.

40% of the Reason Brett is so ate up to keep playing is to break Jim Marshall's record for consecutive games started.

                It's a sickness, I'll tell ya!

I think Patler's on to something with that, KY. Add that to revenge on Ted and twelve million dollars and a system he feels he already knows and a team with some talent, and you've got a 39 year old re-un-retiring.

                  He's one effed up dude.

Go see the Ravens. Last time they played him it was some ridiculous score like 52-3 (and I froze my ass off to suffer through that). Hope they can do it again.

Go to the @ Pittsburgh game.

LMFAO if Favre actually finishes the game.

                            It's working for them:

The Vikings sold more than 2,000 season tickets and more than 6,000 single-game tickets in the hours after news broke on Tuesday that Favre was joining the team, according to Steve LaCroix, the club’s vice president of sales and marketing

2k/6k...I wonder how that would compare to elsewhere in the league. Seems oddly low compared to the dump's capacity.
