Do you really think that there is a correlation between the two? I would think that the since winning a Super Bowl and an MVP are so difficult to do that it does not happen all that often, not that one prevents the other.Originally posted by hoosierTrivia questions:
1. When is the last time the AP's NFL MVP played for the team that won the SB that year?
2. How many times has the MVP been on the SB in the last 15 years?
I for one hope that ARod does NOT get the MVP this year.

I was mainly amused by the realization that it's been 10 years (Kurt Warner, 1999) since an MVP was also on a SB winner. In the decade before that 5 of the 10 MVPs were also SB winners in the same year. So yeah, the "jinx" is probably not going to last much longer.Originally posted by Packman_26Do you really think that there is a correlation between the two?
