I was listening to ESPN radio and they had a Jacksonville beat writer on. He commented that Reggie Nelson had a terrible year last year. I immediately thought of Bretsky.

Just a note to KYPack on the Darren Perry comments about Bigby. When I saw them, I thought that was coachspeak for "you mouth-breathing reporters and fans might think he is playing bad because there have been no big plays or highlight reel material but those will come as he is doing what he is asked".
I think Bigby is safe, unless something strange happens Thursday.
I think after Montgomery, my next choice would be Tony Moll.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Robert Meachem: More Work With First Team

Meachem played more with the first team offense than last week, catching two passes for 27 yards in Saturday night’s preseason game in Houston, reports the Times-Picayune.
Recommendation: For the second week in a row
Meachem outperformed incumbent starter Devery Henderson(notes). Slowly, he might be making a push to start alongside Marques Colston(notes) in the Saints’ high-powered offense. He still remains an intriguing sleeper option in most leagues and, if he were to start, would see an even greater increase in value.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

The courteous thing to do would be to let Sean Peyton know that you're high on this guy.

The courteous thing to do is to let Robert know so he can secure an insurance policy before the season begins.Originally posted by Scott CampbellOriginally posted by BretskyOriginally posted by HarveyWallbangersI was listening to ESPN radio and they had a Jacksonville beat writer on. Also, with Perry here, all the safeties have stopped peeking in the backfield. I pretty much get he won't allow it. Collins, Rouse, and Bigby were 3 of the biggest peekers I've ever seen. Now they have proper technique.
Perry could be saying to all of 'em to do right and you will be all right.

What are the chances that it's Rouse who gets cut?
They love Chucky Peprah, it seems. And if you're a coach, having a guy know what to do, even if he isn't terribly talented, would be a comfort."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Your money would be wasted. Even in my advanced age, I'm fast enough to jog away from Bigby. If he gets within a couple footsteps, a 30 degree change of direction would buy me another 8-10 steps.Originally posted by Harlan HucklebyI'd pay big money to watch Atari Bigby take one clean shot at Skinbasket.
Fuck it. Put me in pads and let him hit me. He's had 5 big hits in his career. On the other hand he's had several dozen flailing arm attacks that look like he's playing slap and tickle in the closet. I like my chances. Harlan has to buy me the replica "SkinBasket" jersey though."You're all very smart, and I'm very dumb." - Partial

I have M. McDonald's Motown CD and it is pretty good.Originally posted by pbmaxTo get this thread back on track...Originally posted by gbgaryOriginally posted by pbmax
That was the joke of course. But I am glad to see you two geezers keeping up with your late 70 hippie-groove bands.

that was only in the beginning. after that he's 80s/90s r&b/soul. was one of my favorites. he's still around.
Later in his solo career, yes. But for "Taking It To The Streets" he was recording with the Doobie Brothers, whose name should tell you all you need to know about their sound.
He also sang backup on every single song in the 1980s. It was a Federal Law.
However, voice aside, he will be free for reunion concerts on Sunday.
