The Baltimore Ravens have traded safety-cornerback Derrick Martin to the Green Bay Packers, according to a league source.
The terms of the compensation haven't been disclosed, but it's likely a 2010 late-round conditional draft pick.
Martin had a strong training camp and preseason, but wasn't slated for much playing time in Baltimore.
He intercepted a pass this preseason.
An athletic former sixth-round draft pick from Wyoming, Martin drew praise from Ravens coach John Harbaugh for his consistency with Harbaugh predicting he had a good chance to make the 53-man roster.
Martin also operates as a gunner on the punt team.
He was sidelined last season on injured reserve, undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum.
